Comparable to Cryuff’s Dream Team, Los Galacticos, Wenger’s Invincibles. Call them what you may, this team is only known by its one name and lead sponsor: Fraser Corp. FC
Fraser, Cheng, Fourie, Rysdyk, Johnston, Farrell, Gageler. The big names return for the upcoming season of Indoor Soccer at Fitzgeralds. Donning the uniforms of German league champions Borussia Dortmund (kindly donated by the good people at Fraser Corp.), the boys are back in town and are planning on dominating the competition from the get go. Time will tell whether this dream is a reality or a nightmare but for now, the sky is the limit.
Reports are filtering in of an Asian version of the Inbetweeners being filmed in Singapore. According to these reports, filming is expected to start on Monday and wrap up by mid-December. Jake Chong and Daniel Lee were last minute call ups for the lead roles of Will and Neil with Shannon Wai playing Jay. Set for a release this Fall!

If you love smoking weed, dressing up like your an 80’s housewife or own an iPhone- you were probably here. Hipsters and indie kids gathered from every park bench, tyre swing and coffee shop in Perth to witness greatness down at the Swan Valley as Icelandic band Sigur Ros rocked it out with their chilled music and intense melodies. Social networking sites such as Instagram were flooded with photos within minutes of the opening song as many users sought their five minutes of fame (aka likes) through excessive tagging which included #sigurros #sigurroslive #perth #2012 #yolo #lights #grass #music #listeningintently #ihavenothingbettertodo
Weather bureaus from Channel 7 news to the iPhone weather app predicted rain and storms for Wednesday and Thursday. Yet, the rain fell not. One man is on a mission for the residents of Perth to experience a dry head for the next three days. Some call him Elijah, others say he’s John the Baptist…but no, he’s actually Justin Fourie. Local man; Godly man; married man come Saturday morning. And as you can see, he’s praying for a miracle that the weather will hold up. Day 1, so far so good.
Now in the Bible, there’s a story of a man named Elijah. He prayed that for three and a half years no rain will fall as proof that his God was the true God. Later on, Elijah met the evil king at Mt Carmel for the ultimate showdown which was won in a shower of fire and flames. A bit symbolic that the wedding will be held at the rose garden in Carmel. Lol okay now I’m just doing this for dramatic effect. But fingers crossed we all stay dry!
Gossip Girl acknowledges our massive ice hockey fanbase. I’d just like to say, yes, you can play ice hockey in Perth. Last week we saw Abe Cheng’s Wolves up against Chris Schoeman’s Grizzlies in a bottom of the table clash for the wooden spoon at the Perth Ice Arena. Unfortunately the results were lost, never to be seen again.
*for once, everything in this article is 100% accurate
In another Rysdyk moment, Justin and Stacey’s wedding rehearsal on Sunday afternoon went off without a glitch- or should I say without a Mitch?
Yes that’s right, one of Justin’s groomsman was a no-show for the rehearsal in one of the calenders most anticipated events. According to sources, a honky nut was Rsydyk’s replacement for the day. And that honky nut went on to save spring break.
The first rule of Fight Club is you do not talk about Fight Club. Luckily this doesn’t apply to Gossip Girl and we’re free to talk about everything Fight Club. This weekend we witnessed the clash of the titans in James Gosling and Chris Moore. The two heavyweights collided in the streets of Burswood after a friendly exchanged turned sour. Numerous witnesses report punches, kicks, pinching and nipple crippling were thrown from both sides. Luckily Mitchell Rysdyk was on hand to break it up and had the two hot heads “hug it out, bitches.”
Mitchell Rysdyk’s 2010 hit video that went viral on social media has hit 192 views on Youtube. Check it out!
Ever since Gossip Girl first broke the story of Kyle and Brooke’s engagement (see article When Stars Say “I Do”), everyone has been asking, who’s next? It seems as if getting married is the new iPhone with blokes front, back and centre either popping the question or saying ‘I do.’ Even people that weren’t even in a relationship such as Mitchell Rysdyk and Michael “Big Mick” Farrell seem to be getting married according to a very reliable source. However, Gossip Girl’s big money is on Asian couple Dan Lee and his Japanese girlfriend Yoko Ono I mean Hana Kadosawa-Tan. Though they’ve been dating for only six months, Love has reasons which reason cannot understand.
American rapper Tupac Amaru Shakur, also known by his stage name as 2Pac, has been sighted in the backyards of Perth. The legendary music artist, who has sold over 75 million records as of 2010, was shot four times in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 12, 1996 and presumably died six days later. Many have questioned whether 2Pac really died, similar to how many people question whether the moon landing ever took place, or as to why Julia Gillard is still Prime Minister. It will, however, remain a mystery. Send us your photos of 2Pac in your backyard!
New girl Cass Clare has already made quite the splash after her arrival two weeks ago. And she’s starting to add some spice to the dull lives of upper-whatever side of Perth. Sources close to Gossip Girl can reveal that she’s already got heads turning both left and right. One head in particular is mean machine Chris Moore. Will Miss Clare be able to resist the advances of Prince Charming? Rumours of a midweek dinner date at Hippos Creek can only add fuel to the speculation. One things for certain though, all eyes will be on Cass Clare to see whether she picks the Lions Kill. Stay tuned!
Abe Cheng’sMitsubish Colt has scored an upset victory against Jake “Drift King” Chong’sNissan Skyline in a thrilling race down “Thunder Road” aka Spencer Road. With the driver’s ‘Pink Slip’ on the line, a combination of Cheng’s smooth handling and quick wit managed to get him over the line against reigning DK Jake Chong.
Asked what his thoughts of the race was, Cheng scoffed: “You almost had me? You never had me - you never had your car… Granny shiftin’ not double clutchin’ like you should. You’re lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn’t blow the welds on the intake! You almost had me?“
Supra champion Shannon Wai gave his expert commentary, “Ask any racer, any real racer. It doesn’t matter if you win by an inch or a mile; winning’s winning.”
However, driving veteran Chris Moore, who also races for Formula 1 team Lotus, was skeptical that Cheng’sColt could compete with the high powered mean machines such as his WRX or Ben Fraser’sJeep.
